How do I get a program to open on startup?

Loud boss guy doesn’t usually join on any email invites – doesn’t explore new apps, things like that. So, when the entire office decides to try a new communication effort, he must be thrust into it without any effort on his part or it will not be done. Today we joined a communication program called Slack. Sent him an invite…. chirp chirp silence. Loud boss guy doesn’t join. So we know what we have to do. We have to jump on his computer and join for him and download the software – check & check! How do we get it to pop up all by itself on boot? Here’s the google search:

UPDATE


I tried to do this the other day… and it didn’t work. Weird. Commencing a second Google search I found this nifty trick!!

From Google Search: “how to restart a server remote desktop”

No way!! It can’t be that simple. Like CTRL+ALT+DEL but not 😉

So there IS more than one way to skin a … that’s a gross saying! There’s more than one way to get the job done 😉 Options are the spice of life 🙂
